While change can be exciting, it can also bring questions. This guide answers some of the most common questions we’ve encountered about the transition from HCR ManorCare to ProMedica Senior Care.

• Will the staff that provide my care change?

  

  You will continue to see the same caregiving staff you have grown accustom to.

• Will there be a change in services provided?

  

  We will continue to provide the same services as before, from skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, long term care, memory care, home health, hospice and palliative care.

• Will there be any changes to the facility I currently reside in?

  

  You will see signage changes, and the staff will have new nametags, but operations are managed by the same team. We will continue to renovate our skilled nursing and memory care communities as necessary.

• Will my insurance still cover my care?

  

  Yes, we will continue to work with all the same managed care providers as we become ProMedica.
